Keynote Speaker

Dr. Deutsch is an emergency, undersea and lifestyle medicine physician who has been in practice for 14 years. She received her bachelor's degree in biology and neuroscience from Davidson College (NC) before moving to San Francisco to build houses for Habitat for Humanity through Americorps. She earned an MPH In epidemiology (bioterrorism and infectious disease) from the Rollins School of Public Health (Emory University) before attending medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

After medical school, Dr. Deutsch became a Commissioned Officer in the US Navy, completed emergency medicine residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI and was stationed at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (one of the "big three" academic centers in Navy medicine). Shortly thereafter, she was deployed and served as Shock Trauma Platoon Director in SW Afghanistan with the Marines where she was involved with Blackhawk medivacs, taught ACLS and disaster response, and ran austere clinics for locals as well as OGAs. Dr. Deutsch then served as the Undersea Medical Officer at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, FL where she was the Director of Hyperbaric Medicine, as well as the on-call physician for all pressure related physiological events (PE) in Naval aviation worldwide.

Other projects have included the addition of Role II care aboard submarines as well as updates to the curriculum for and standardization of PE-related training for all Navy RAMs, flight surgeons and undersea medical officers. She has a passion diving and hyperbaric medicine, as well as for guiding people in their bioindividual pursuit of wellness in every aspect of their lives. Currently, she serves as the Medical Director for the dive program at Moody Gardens as well as the Sonny Carter Training Facility at Johnson Space Center.

Jen Achord is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate America, including more than a decade in leadership roles at top 100 firms. Armed with a Masters in Business and Masters in Finance, Jen's extensive background in business and finance has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to excel in the competitive corporate landscape.

Jen's entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 20, showcasing her drive and ambition early on. Over the years, she has channeled her passion for personal development into a successful business, where she specializes in developing women, leadership coaching, and marriage coaching. Her expertise in these areas has made her a sought-after mentor for individuals and couples looking to enhance their lives and relationships.

Jen knows firsthand the struggle of balancing a demanding career with the responsibilities as a wife with two small children. Despite the challenges, she has successfully navigated this balance, ensuring alignment with her true self and her goals. Her ability to thrive in both her personal and professional life serves as an inspiration to others facing similar challenges.

Rooted in her own experiences of overcoming trauma, building confidence, and fostering self-worth, Jen is dedicated to helping others reach a higher level of spiritual maturity and personal resilience. She is passionate about helping women through encouragement, empowerment, and community.
